Aliens (1986)

This is an original, recalled one-sheet movie poster (27" x 41") from 1986 for Aliens starring Sigourney Weaver, Bill Paxton, Carrie Henn and Paul Reiser. James Cameron directed the science-fiction sequel.

The poster was recalled by 20th Century Fox shortly after being distributed to movie theaters in 1986. The story goes that Sigourney Weaver had contractual rights to approve any promotional materials featuring her image. She did not like the way she appeared in this poster and 20th Century Fox was forced to recall this poster. 

The poster measures 27" x 41" and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal creasing and cross-fold wear from previous handling and storage. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. 

Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
