This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1975 for Tommy starring Ann-Margret, Oliver Reed, Roger Daltrey, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Keith Moon, Jack Nicholson, Pete Townshend and Tina Turner. Ken Russell directed the rock musical with music by The Who.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to restoration, the poster was in very good condition with minimal surface wear from previous handling . It was folded after printing and had minor wear along the fold lines. The folds are much less noticeable after restoration. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
