This is an original, French moyenne theatrical movie poster from 1961 for The Hands of Orlac starring Mel Ferrer, Christopher Lee, Dany Carrel, Lucile Saint-Simon, Felix Aylmer and Donald Pleasence. Edmond T. Greville directed the French-English horror thriller. Jouineau Bourduge is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 23.5" x 31.5" and is in good to very good condition with some minor wear along the white edges and some paper loss on the left horizontal fold. The poster was folded at the time of printing but has been stored flat for many years. It will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1961 to promote the initial, French theatrical release of The Hands of Orlac, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
