This is an original, six-sheet movie poster from 1953 for the initial, U.S. theatrical release of John Huston's Moulin Rouge starring Jose Ferrer, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Suzanne Flon, Colette Marchand and Claude Nollier. John Huston directed the classic film based on the novel by Pierre La Mure.
The poster measures 81" x 81" and is in very good condition with a number of staple holes around the outer edges from theatrical display. The poster was at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. It was printed in four sections designed to overlap and has some creasing and a few small separations are parts of the fold lines (a few of which have been repaired from the back with tape).
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
