This is an original one-sheet movie poster from 1962 for Birdman of Alcatraz starring Burt Lancaster, Karl Malden, Thelma Ritter, Neville Brand, Edmond O'Brien and Telly Savalas. John Frankenheimer directed the prison drama based on the novel by Tom Gaddis.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good to excellent condition prior to linen-backing with very minor edge and fold wear from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
