This is an original, Italian 4 Fogli theatrical movie poster from 1980 for Mad Max (released in Italy as Interceptor) starring Mel Gibson, Joanne Samuel, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Steve Bisley, Tim Burns, and Roger Ward. George Miller directed the action thriller. John Hamagami is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 55” x 78" and was printed in two sections designed to overlap. It is in very good to excellent condition with minimal edge wear from long-term storage. It was folded at the time of printing and has minor creasing along some of the folds. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
