This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1939 for Rovin' Tumbleweeds starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Mary Carlisle, and Douglass Dumbrille. George Sherman directed the western musical.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in good condition prior to backing with scattered smudges and spots of discoloration from previous handling and display. It was folded at the time of printing and there was creasing and wear along parts of the folds and cross-folds. The poster was backed in the European style without significant restoration. Also, at some point, the excess linen was trimmed away resulting in some light creasing along parts of the edges.
