This is an original, rolled, small Italian fotobusta theatrical movie poster from 1954 for On the Waterfront starring Marlon Brando, Karl Malden, Lee J. Cobb, Rod Steiger, Pat Henning and Eva Marie Saint. Elia Kazan directed the classic film.
The poster measures 13.25" x 19" and is in good to very good condition with slightly enlarged pinholes at the top corners of the poster from theatrical display, small tears/creases along parts of the white edges, and light surface creasing in various parts of the poster from previous handling. Unlike most fotobusta posters from this period, it has never been folded.
Please look very closely at the photos as this is the exact poster you are buying. It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1954 to promote the initial, Italian theatrical release of On the Waterfront, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
