This is an original, three-sheet movie poster from 1962 for Damn the Defiant! (released outside the United States as H.M.S. Defiant) starring Alec Guinness, Dirk Bogarde, Anthony Quayle, Maurice Denham, Nigel Stock, Richard Carpenter, and Tom Bowman. Lewis Gilbert directed the adventure thriller.
The poster measures 41” x 81” and was printed in two sections designed to overlap. It is in very good condition with minimal creasing and small separations at a few of the cross-folds from long-term storage. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
