This is an original, rolled, forty by sixty, theatrical movie poster from 1976 for Rocky starring Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire, Burt Young, Carl Weathers and Burgess Meredith. John G. Avildsen directed the Academy Award-winning boxing film.
The poster measures 40” x 60” and is in very good to excellent, unused and unrestored condition with minimal wear from long term storage. It has never been folded. Forty by sixty posters were printed on heavier paper stock compared to one-sheet posters.
Please look closely at the photo as it is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in late 1976 to promote the early 1977 theatrical release of Rocky, is not a reprint or reproduction.
