This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from from 1971 for The French Connection starring Gene Hackman, Fernando Rey, Roy Scheider, Tony Lo Bianco, Marcel Bozzuffi, and Eddie Egan. William Friedkin directed the classic crime thriller.
The Style A, internaional poster was printed in the United States for use in theaters outside the country. It has no MPAA rating. The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good to excellent condition prior to restoration with very minor fold wear from previous handling.It was folded at the time of printing however the fold lines are mich less prominent after restoration. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
