Size: 20" x 57"This is an original Japanese two-panel movie poster from 1969 for The Lion in Winter starring Peter O'Toole, Katharine Hepburn, Jane Merrow, John Castle, Timothy Dalton and Anthony Hopkins. Anthony Harvey directed the classic English drama.
The Tatekan-style poster measures 20” x 57” and was printed in two sections designed to overlap. The poster is in very good condition. The Japanese movie theater that displayed the poster joined the two sections with glue together before putting them on display. This practice was common for theatrically-displayed Tatekan posters. The poster has minor fold and edge wear and a few pinholes from theatrical display. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid tube mailer.Please look closely at the photo as this is the exact poster you are buying. The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
