This is an original, British quad theatrical movie poster from 1972 for Fritz the Cat featuring the voices of Skip Hinnant, Rosetta LeNoire, John McCurry, Phil Seuling and Judy Engles. Ralph Bakshi directed the animated, adult "X-rated" cartoon based on characters created by Robert Crumb. Tom William Chantrell is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 30”x 40” and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear from handling. It was folded at the time of printing in 1972. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. The poster has staple holes in the corners from theatrical display. It has been stored flat for many years and will be shipped in a rigid, tube mailer.
