This is an original, rolled, one-sheet movie poster from 1984 for Moscow on the Hudson starring Robin Williams, Maria Conchita Alonso, Alejandro Rey and Cleavant Derricks. Paul Mazursky directed the film.
Craig Nelson is the artist for the poster that was the subject of a successful lawsuit brought against Columbia Pictures by Saul Steinberg. The court found that the Moscow on the Hudson poster art infringed on the copyright of Steinberg's 1976 piece called "View of the World from 9th Avenue."
The poster measures 27" x 41" and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal edge creasing from previous handling. Unlike most one sheets from this period, it has never been folded.
