This is an original, French grande theatrical movie poster from 1978 for the initial release of Close Encounters of the Third Kind starring Richard Dreyfuss, Teri Garr, Melinda Dillon, Francois Truffaut, Bob Balaban and Cary Guffey. Steven Spielberg directed the science-fiction film.
The poster measures 47.25" x 63" and is in very good to excellent, unused condition with minimal creasing from long-term storage and handling. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
