This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1964 for Alfred Hitchcock's Marnie starring Tippi Hedren, Sean Connery, Diane Baker, Martin Gabel, and Louise Latham. Alfred Hitchcock directed the suspense thriller.
The poster measures 27" x 41"and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to restoration, the poster was in good to very good condition with pinholes from theatrical display, pinhole separations at the cross-folds, and minor fold wear. At some point, much of the blank border was trimmed off but it has been restored. The poster was folded at the time of printing but the folds are less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not a stock image. The small, black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1964 to promote the initial theatrical release of Marnie, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
