Size (inches): 41” x 81”This is an original three-sheet movie poster from 1965 for a theatrical re-release of Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I. The classic movie stars Deborah Kerr, Yul Brynner, Rita Moreno, Martin Benson, and Rex Thompson. Walter Lang directed the musical.
The poster measures 41” x 81” and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear from handling. There is some darkening on the back of the poster from long term storage. It has little to no effect on the front of the poster. It was printed in two sections designed to overlap and was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black squares around the edges of the poster are magnets and not pins.
