This is an original, rolled, Japanese B2 movie poster from 1965 for Akahige (released in the United States as Red Beard) starring Toshiro Mifune, Yuzo Kayama, Yoshio Tsuchiya, Tatsuyoshi Ehara, and Tsutomu Yamazaki. Akira Kurosawa directed the classic drama.
The poster measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" and is in very good to excellent, unused condition with minimal edge creasing from previous handling. It has never been folded.Please look closely at the photo as it is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1965 to promote the initial, Japanese theatrical release of Akahige (Red Beard), is not a reproduction or a reprint.
