Bus Stop (1956)

This is an original, English Double Crown theatrical movie poster from 1956 for Bus Stop starring Marilyn Monroe, Don Murray, Arthur O'Connell, Betty Field, Hope Lange and Henry Slate. Joshua Logan directed the romantic comedy based on the play by William Inge. Tom William Chantrell is the artist for the poster.

The poster measures 20" x 30" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was in very good condition prior to linen-backing. It previously had a one-inch tear on the top border along with minor edge and fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are barely noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and are rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
