This is an original, linen-backed, three-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1975 for The Prisoner of Second Avenue starring Jack Lemmon, Anne Bancroft, Gene Saks, F. Murray Abraham, M. Emmet Walsh, and Sylvester Stallone (uncredited). Melvin Frank directed the New York comedy.
The poster measures 41" x 81" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was printed in the United States for use in theaters outside the country. It has different artwork from the domestic poster. It was in very good condition prior to restoration. The poster was folded at the time of printing and had some wear and creasing on parts of the folds and cross-folds. The folds are much less noticeable after restoration. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
