This is an original Swedish movie poster from 1953 for the initial, theatrical release of The War of the Worlds starring Gene Barry, Ann Robinson, Les Tremayne, Robert Cornthwaite, Lewis Martin, and Ann Codee. Byron Haskin directed the classic science fiction film based on the novel by H.G. Wells.
The stolpe poster measures 20.5" x 27.5" and is in excellent condition with minimal wear from long-term storage. The poster was briefly folded at the time of printing. It has has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid tube mailer.
