This is an original, Italian 4 Fogli movie poster from 1960 for a theatrical re-release of On the Waterfront starring Marlon Brando, Karl Malden, Lee J. Cobb, Rod Steiger, Pat Henning and Eva Marie Saint. Elia Kazan directed the classic film.
Referred to in Italy as a 4 Fogli, the poster was printed in two sections designed to overlap. It measures 55” x 78" and is in very good condition with some pinholes around the edges from theatrical display, minor edge wear and a tiny separation at the upper-left cross-fold. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
