This is an original one-sheet movie poster from 1977 for the initial, U.S. theatrical release of Aguirre, the Wrath of God (Aguirre, der Zorn Gottes) starring Klaus Kinski, Helena Rojo, Del Negro, Ruy Guerra, Peter Berling, Cecilia Rivera, Dany Ades, Armando Polanah, Alejandro Repulles, and Edward Roland. Werner Herzog directed the classic 1972 medieval drama. Michael Deas is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and is in very good condition with minor edge and fold wear from previous handling and storage. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
