(plus small linen border)This is an original, linen-backed one-sheet movie poster from 1951 for Detective Story starring Kirk Douglas, Eleanor Parker, William Bendix, Cathy O'Donnell and Lee Grant. William Wyler directed the crime drama.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to linen-backing the poster was in very good condition with some edge/fold wear, small tears and pinholes from theatrical display. The poster was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photo as this is the exact poster you are buying. The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
