This is an original half-sheet movie poster from 1962 for Birdman of Alcatraz starring Burt Lancaster, Karl Malden, Thelma Ritter, Neville Brand, Edmond O'Brien and Telly Savalas. John Frankenheimer directed the prison drama based on the novel by Tom Gaddis.
The poster measures 22” x 28” and is in good to very good condition with some surface wear, minor edge wear and a few smudges from handling. The poster was folded at the time of printing. It has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
