Mark Robson directed the film based on a story by J.D. Salinger. The movie had a New York premiere in December 1949 before being widely released in January 1950.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal creasing around the edges from previous handling. There is a pinhole-size tear on the lower-left edge. The poster was tri-folded at the time of printing and has no vertical fold down the middle. It has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
