Unforgiven (1992)

This is an original, linen-backed, teaser one-sheet movie poster from 1992 for Unforgiven starring Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, Richard Harris, and Jaimz Woolvett. Clint Eastwood also directed the Academy Award-winning western. Bill Gold is the artist for the poster.

There were two teaser one-sheet posters printed for Unforgiven: one with the August 7 release date listed and one without any date.  This poster is the version without any date.  It was printed in much smaller quantities compared to the dated teaser.

The poster measures 27” x 40” (it has not been trimmed) and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display.  It was in good to very good condition prior to restoration with pinholes in the corners from theatrical display.  It was folded at the time of printing and had areas of wear along the fold lines and creasing from handling. The folds are less noticeable after restoration.  Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.

This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1992 to tease the theatrical release of Unforgiven, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
