"The hilarious comedy about dis-Organized Crime."
This is a vintage, one-sheet movie poster from 1971 for The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight starring Jerry Orbach, Leigh Taylor-Young and Robert De Niro. Based on the book by Jimmy Breslin, the gangster crime-comedy was directed by James Goldstone. Mort Drucker did the art for the poster.
This movie poster was printed in the United States for use in a Canadian theater and features a Canadian Censor stamp on the upper right of the poster. There is also a sticker/snipe over the US rating information.
The poster is in good condition with pin holes in each corner, some tape residue in the upper left corner and some minor scuffing on the upper right corner.
This poster, like nearly all pre-1985 film posters, was folded before being shipped to a movie theater. After being folded for several decades, there is a small amount of ink transfer on the upper right portion of the poster but it doesn’t detract from the great imagery. The folds will flatten out nicely for framing but are normal for vintage movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is an original, authentic, one-sheet movie poster printed in 1971 to promote The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight. This collectible poster is not a reproduction or a reprint.
