This is an original, East German A3 theatrical movie poster from 1984 for the initial release of Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) starring Richard Dreyfuss, Teri Garr, Melinda Dillon, Francois Truffaut, Bob Balaban and Cary Guffey. Steven Spielberg directed the science-fiction film.
The poster measures 11.25" x 16" and is in good to very good condition with minor edge wear and a few, small surface scuffs near the edge of the poster. It was folded at the time of printing but has been stored flat for many years. It will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, rube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1984 for the East German theatrical release of Close Encounters of the Third Kind, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
