This is an original, rolled, half-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1931 for The Age for Love starring Billie Dove, Charles Starrett, Lois Wilson, Edward Everett Horton, and Mary Duncan. Frank Lloyd directed the film based on the novel by Ernest Pascal. Howard Hughes infamously produced the film as a vehicle for Billie Dove (who was his mistress at the time).
The poster measures 22” x 28” and is in very good condition with pinholes from theatrical display, a number of tears around the edges (they do not impact the main image), a tiny tear in the lower-right corner and small amounts paper loss at three of the corners. There is some old pencil writing in the upper-right corner of the white border. The poster has never been folded.
