Psycho (1960)

This is an original, linen-backed, six-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1960 for the initial release of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho starring Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Vera Miles, John Gavin, Martin Balsam and John McIntire. Alfred Hitchcock directed the classic horror thriller based on the novel by Robert Bloch.

The poster measures 81" x 81" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display.  The poster is in excellent, restored condition.  It was originally printed in four sections designed to overlap and was folded at the time of printing. The poster was linen-backed several years ago by a previous owner.  During many years of storage, it developed several spots of light discoloration on the edges.  The poster has since undergone a new restoration.  It was expertly removed from the previous linen-backing and newly linen-backed with minor restoration applied to the areas of discoloration.  It is now in beautiful shape and is ready for display in a large area.
