Man with the Golden Gun (1974)

This is an original, Italian 4 fogli theatrical movie poster from 1974 for The Man with the Golden Gun starring Roger Moore, Christopher Lee, Britt Ekland, Herve Villechaize, and Maud Adams. Guy Hamilton directed the James Bond film.  

Robert McGinnis created the original artwork used to market The Man with the Golden Gun and his full art is featured on other Italian posters promoting the film.  It is unclear as to why but Italian artist Enzo Sciotti was also hired to design posters for the Italian release with a simplified design based on the one by Robert McGinnis.  This poster features the artwork by Enzo Sciotti. The poster features the United Artists logo used in 1974 (it was changed in 1975) so this poster is likely an alternate poster from the initial, theatrical release.

The poster measures 55” x 78” and was printed in two sections designed to overlap.   It is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear from previous handling and storage. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.

Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image.  The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
