This is an original one-sheet movie poster from 1956 for Alfred Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much starring James Stewart, Doris Day, Brenda De Banzie, Bernard Miles, Ralph Truman, Daniel Gelin and Christopher Olsen. Alfred Hitchcock directed the crime thriller.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to linen-backing with a tiny tear at the top edge and a few, tiny, faint spots of discoloration. It was folded at the time of printing but the fold lines are much less visible after restoration. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). They are not from a stock image. The black squares around the edges of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1956 to promote the theatrical release of The Man Who Knew Too Much, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
