This is an original, door panel theatrical movie poster from 1980 for The Shining starring Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall, Danny Lloyd, Scatman Crothers, Barry Nelson, Philip Stone, and Joe Turkel. Stanley Kubrick directed the film based on the novel by Stephen King. Saul Bass is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 20” x 59.25” and is in very good to excellent condition with a small smudge near the middle of the right edge. It was folded twice horizontally at the time pf printing with no vertical fold down the middle. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo as this is the exact poster you are buying. It is not a stock image. The small black squares are magnets to hold down the poster.
