This is an original French 4 panel movie poster from 1966 for The Sound of Music starring Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer, Richard Haydn, Peggy Wood, Charmian Carr, Heather Menzies and Angela Cartwright. Robert Wise directed the classic film based on the musical by Rodgers & Hammerstein. Howard Terpning is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 91.25" x 120.5" and was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap. It is in very good condition with very minor edge wear and a few, small, cross-fold separations from long-term storage and handling. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
