This is an original, Italian fotobusta theatrical movie poster from 1980 for The Shining starring Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall, Danny Lloyd, Scatman Crothers, Barry Nelson, Philip Stone, and Joe Turkel. Stanley Kubrick directed the film based on the novel by Stephen King.
The poster measures 18.5" x 26.25" and is in good condition with a small tear on the upper-left corner and strips of tape residue in the corners from theatrical display. There are some scattered, faint surface creases. It was folded in half at the time of printing and has creasing along the fold line. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look very closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1980 to promote the Italian theatrical release of The Shining, is not a reproduction.
