This is an original, linen-backed, French grande movie poster from 1984 for a theatrical re-release of Bus Stop starring Marilyn Monroe, Don Murray, Arthur O'Connell, Betty Field, Hope Lange and Henry Slate. Joshua Logan directed the romantic comedy based on the play by William Inge. Rinaldo Geleng is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 47.5" x 62.75" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good to excellent condition prior to restoration with a few, faint surface smudges and minor fold wear from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing but the fold lines are much less visible after linen-backing. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
