E.T. The Extra Terrestrial (1982)

This is an original Italian locandina movie poster from 1982 for E.T. The Extra Terrestrial starring Henry Thomas, Dee Wallace, Peter Coyote and Drew Barrymore. Steven Spielberg directed the classic film.

E.T. premiered in the United States in June 1982 and became a smash hit at the box office. It was shown at the Venice Film Festival in August 1982. This poster was printed in Italy to promote the December 1982 wide release in Italy and features the tag line “La storia che ha commosso il mondo” which translates as “The story that has moved the world.”

The poster measures 13" x 27.5 "and is in very good condition. There is some minor edge wear on the right side of the poster, fold creases in the upper right corner and a very small tear on the lower left border.  The poster was folded at the time of printing.   It has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
