This is an original, British quad theatrical movie poster from 1963 for Cleopatra starring Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Rex Harrison, Hume Cronyn and Roddy McDowall. Joseph L. Mankiewicz directed the historical epic.
The poster measures 30" x 40" and is in very good condition with minimal edge wear from previous handling. There is some marker writing on the back of the poster that slightly bleeds through to the front at lower left (it is barely noticeable as seen in the photo). The poster was folded at the time of printing. It has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1963 to promote the British theatrical release of Cleopatra, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
