This is an original, one-sheet movie poster from 1944 for Girl Rush starring Wally Brown, Allan Carney, Frances Langford, Barbara Jo Allen, Robert Mitchum, Paul Hurst, Patti Brill, and Sarah Padden. Gordon Douglas directed the musical comedy.
The Style A poster measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to backing and restoration, the poster was in good condition with areas of edge/fold wear and pinholes from theatrical display. There were a number of scattered, surface smudges and stains. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer. The excess linen was previously trimmed off for framing.
Please look closely at the photos as this is the exact poster you are buying. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
