This is an original, Italian 2 Fogli movie poster from 1977 for Rocky starring Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire, Burt Young, Carl Weathers and Burgess Meredith. John G. Avildsen directed the Academy Award-winning boxing film.
Rocky was released in the United States in December 1976 and won 3 Academy Awards on March 28, 1977. Rocky was released in Italy just three days earlier . This poster was printed just after the film entered Italian theaters.
The poster measures 39” x 55” and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal creasing and fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
