This is an original movie poster from 1956 for the initial, theatrical release of To Catch a Thief in Spain. The classic film stars Cary Grant, Grace Kelly, Jessie Royce Landis, John Williams, Charles Vanel and Jean Martinelli. Alfred Hitchcock directed the mystery thriller based on the novel by David Dodge. Fernando Albericio is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 27.75" x 39.25" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was in very good to excellent condition prior to linen-backing with pinholes from theatrical display and minimal fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
