This is an original, Italian movie theatrical poster from 1968 for The Detective starring Frank Sinatra, Lee Remick, Ralph Meeker, Jack Klugman, Robert Duvall, Jacqueline Bisset and Sugar Ray Robinson. Gordon Douglas directed the crime thriller. Enzo Nistri is the artist for the poster.
Referred to in Italy as a 4 Fogli, the poster was printed in two sections designed to overlap and measures 55” x 78”. It is in very good to excellent condition with minimal edge and fold wear from previous handling. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
