This is an original, linen-backed, three-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1951 for When Worlds Collide starring Barbara Rush, Richard Derr, Peter Hanson, John Hoyt, Larry Keating, Frank Cady, and Stephen Chase. Rudolph Mate directed the science fiction thriller.
The poster measures 41" x 81" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with minor edge and a few smudges from previous handling. The poster was originally printed in two sections designed to overlap (it is now in one section on linen). It was folded at the time of printing and had a small amount of paper loss along the lower-right fold. The folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
