This is an original three-sheet movie poster from 1975 for The Downing Pool starring Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Tony Franciosa, Linda Haynes, Melanie Griffith, Richard Jaeckel, and Gail Strickland. Stuart Rosenberg directed the sequel to the 1966 film Harper.
The poster measures 41” x 81” and was printed in the United States for use in theaters outside the country. It comes in two sections that overlap to create the single image and is in very good to excellent condition.
The poster was folded at the time of printing before being shipped to a movie theater. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). This collectible poster, printed in 1975 to promote the theatrical release of The Drowning Pool, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
The black squares in the corners and edges of the poster are magnets and not pins.
