This is an original, Australian daybill theatrical movie poster from 1982 for the initial release of Das Boot (The Boat) starring Jurgen Prochnow, Herbert Gronemeyer, Klaus Wennemann, Hubertus Bengsch, and Martin Semmelrogge. Wolfgang Petersen directed the classic World War II submarine film. Gary Meyer is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 13” x 27.75” and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal, light creasing from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
