LE 0.00
Film: Dog Day Afternoon (1975) Year poster printed: 1975 (First theatrical release in Yugoslavia) Country: Yugoslavia Size (inches): 19 1/2" x 27 1/2"
“Anything can happen during the dog days of summer. On August 22nd, 1972, everything did.”
This is an original movie poster from 1975 for Dog Day Afternoon starring Al Pacino, John Cazale, James Broderick, Charles Durning and Chris Sarandon. Sidney Lumet directed the New York-bank robbery film that was based on a true story.
The Yugoslavian poster measures 19.5" x 27.5" and is in very good condition. It has some minor, age-appropriate edge wear. The poster was folded before being shipped to a Yugoslavian movie theater in 1975. It has been stored flat for many years and will be shipped in a rigid tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). This collectible poster, printed in 1975 to promote the release of Dog Day Afternoon in the former Yugoslavia, is not a reproduction or a reprint. The small black squares in the corners are magnets to hold the poster down.
