This is an original, German A0 theatrical movie poster from 1979 for Apocalypse Now starring Martin Sheen, Marlon Brando, Dennis Hopper, Albert Hall, Sam Bottoms, Laurence Fishburne, Harrison Ford and Robert Duvall. Francis Ford Coppola directed the classic Vietnam war film. Bob Peak is the artist for the poster.
This horizontal poster was printed in very limited numbers. It measures 33” x 47” and is in good to very good condition with pinholes in the corners from theatrical display (some with tiny tears from rough removal). There was once a studio snipe (sticker) on the bottom right corner that was removed leaving a circle of residue. The poster was folded at the time of printing and has light wear on parts of the folds and cross-folds from long-term storage. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage and collectible movie posters.
