This is an original Australian movie poster from 1974 for The Taking of Pelham One Two Three starring Walter Matthau, Robert Shaw, Martin Balsam, Hector Elizondo, and Jerry Stiller. Joseph Sargent directed the movie. Mort Künstler, famous for his illustrative paintings of the American Civil War, created the art for the poster.
The Australian daybill movie poster measures 13" x 30"and is in good to very good condition. There are some pinholes in the upper left corner and some minor edge wear around the edges of the poster.
This poster, like most Australian movie posters, was folded before being shipped to theaters for display. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
