Empire Strikes Back (1980)

This is an original, paperbacked, Style B half-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1980 for The Empire Strikes Back starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, James Earl Jones, Kenny Baker, Peter Meyhew, Frank Oz and Alex Guinness. Irvin Kershner directed the Star Wars sequel. Tom Jung is the artist for the poster.

There are two authentic versions of this half-sheet poster.  One has a lighter blue color and one has a darker, more bold coloring.  This poster is the much rarer, bold blue version.  It measures 22" x 28" and is in excellent condition.  It has been paperbacked (attached to a acid-free backing for preservation, restoration, and stability). The poster was in good to very condition prior to restoration with blue residue stains from theatrical display, a few minor creases and a few other spots of minor discoloration.  These flaws have all been repaired during backing.  The poster has never been folded and will be shipped flat to avoid damage in transit.
